Monday 24th of September. Westergasfabriek Amsterdam. 8.00 o’clock in the morning. Buutvrij (Reuben and Maarten), ten guys and one girl. One school-board-stage. A pile of chalksticks. And a mission…
It was the start of the international crossmedia event Picnic. The guys from Buutvrij had their school-board-stage right there in the middle of the event. And a bunch of designers, Anneke and i were invited to do some live street-art. We were treated some delicious croissaints, a nice cup of coffee and four boxes of the finest chalksticks (next the the regular big-size-street-chalksticks, which we hardly touched of course). Everyone was inspired. (Okay, maybe Wouter wasn’t =P). And everyone went full throttle (yes, Wouter too! =). Resulting in a foxy stage. See the result for yourself. Mission accomplished.
